On entry to a Ryanair plane, ie, at the door, after all security, etc, checks had been done, far from being welcomed aboard by a smiling leprechaun, she was accosted by a sour-faced female demanding £35 from her.  It was that, or dump her hand luggage, a small bag that numberless Ryanair staff had seen without comment.
