Colin,

There is no "allision" in either of my dictionaries. Words made up by US 
lawyers (or any other kind) should not be admissible in courts of law. One 
of the very few made up words I recognise is "spronnicle", invented by a 
friend and I to describe any obscure convoluted bit of stainless steel on 
the shelves of a yacht chandler.  Useful in phrases like, "Arrrr - 
spronnicle be grottened."  Grottening is something that happens to 
spronnicles - I won't go into it here.
