Colin,

 

Cameron’s government’s answer is. “That no body can ever receive more than
£500 a week in benefits” people will have to live with in there means. The
working public are all shouting HEAR HEAR. Thank god I do not after take
sides.

Hugh,

 

A few weeks ago BBC showed a program saying that there are lots of people in
London getting more than £500 a week in benefits. They interviewed a black
woman who had a 10 year old daughter but no husband and she received some
£850s a week. She was moaning that if she was capped at £500 she would have
to move to a cheaper house further out of London and she would not be near
her friends, also her daughter would have to change her school and lose her
friends. She did not have a job. To buy a house in that district was an
astronomical figure. That is why the man asked the question “Why should folk
get £500 a week when he worked nearly 40 hours a week for £450”  Naturally
the three members of the three parties waffled through there answers trying
to please everybody.
