forget all that new orleans jazz crap - this is the sort of mess we have to contend with.

a useless, corrupt police force and an even more useless sheriff who runs his own private force and jail kingdom [beholden to no one] and cries racism when confronted. 

boo-hoo, they are only complaining because I am black -- oh, woe is me.

although I have asked, no one can tell me why we need a police force and a separate sheriff's department.......................apart from jobs for the boys! 

[we even had a separate bridge police force and a separate levee police force, complete with chiefs and entourages, until recently. and don't get me started on the state police]
