Could be you refer to the same subject as was raised in the letter column of 
today's Independent. The writer reckoned HM's Jubilee merited a Spithead 
review, rather than a wee sail down the Thames. But, he went on, where were 
the warships to come from?

My interest in it all, and I admit it wasn't much, evaporated when I logged 
onto Yahoo and was assailed by an advert for bloody Jubilee Marmite in full 
red white and blue.
