[BITList] Bob Katter

Malcolm,

Bob Katter, a plain speaking rebel and the voters in his electorate love
him, he has been in Parliament a long time, his father held the seat before
him. Originally a Country Party member, now re-branded as the National
Party, which represents the conservative side of politics in the bush. He
fell out with the party, no surprise there, and now sits as an independent.
He has a habit of calling a spade a spade, does his best for
the electorate (John lives in his electorate I would think, or close to it,
and will not agree) and doesn't suffer fools. He supports what he thinks is
right no matter which side of the guvmint is in power and makes a loud
noise when things don't go according to his view. Having said that though
he is no supporter of Julia Gillard or this guvmint.

Whether he said, wrote or whatever that message I don't know. It is, after
all,  really a rehash of much of what we see on WWW attributed to various
well known people in America or UK, but this time with an Australian
flavour. According to other "sources" the various well known people usually
deny having said what has been attributed to them so I treat it as having
come from Bob with a little bit of salt, sounds like him, but if someone
else has put it up they could easily copy his style.
