[BITList] Master Mariner

Having left the sea with a "wet" Master's Cert, to those of you who stayed the full course, I gather that some conversion of the referenced was made at some stage. My question is; How was this achieved -automatically or through a supplementary exam? What is this Cert. called? and is the term Master Mariner still used? Just interested. Ron T in F
