The settlement also doesn't come with any admission from Google of wrongdoing.

So much for…

Google has long prided itself on its reputation as a responsible corporate citizen.

This is why Google doesn't care…   

"The news of the fine did not hurt Google trade, shares added 12 cents to close Thursday at $US642.35. Although it was modest, the gain was still enough to boost Google's market value by about $US39 million, nearly twice the amount of the fine."
