That takes me back to my 3 months in Kincaid's apprentice school, and the 9 months following in the Finishing Shop under Bernard Kok and Mr Petersen. We didn't make guns (as far as I recall), but it was same kind of finicky work with hacksaw, files, emery and oil, hammer and chisel, and drills.  The product apart, it's nice to see the old skills are still used somewhere.
