Opine  Roy Jefferies was a pancher first trip on Nowshera 57 ? perhaps he hailed from Liverpool  ? Paddy the Irish 3rd and Maurice Deans look familiar ? think Paddy was also 3rd on Nyanza 62 .

Brings back memories of how young , we looked then , oh well , ce la vie !

  I wonder if any one ever sailed with any of these chaps? I sailed with them on MV Chanda in 1959/60. The wedding was in Sydney 27th August 59.

  Left to Right >5th Engineer Derek Boardman. 5th Engineer Maurice Deans. 4th Engineer Roy Jefferies (Groom). 3rd Engineer Paddy

  Derek Boardman now lives in USA.

         4th Engineer  Roy Jefferies & Wife Frances. She was a natural Australian. They settled in Canberra. 

        2nd Engineer & Wife.   Tony Brown Beresford. He was a bred & born Australian, also his wife. Lived in Sydney.

    3rd Engineer  Paddy.  I never knew his real name (Naturally Irish)

     5th Engineer   Maurice Deans. From Aberdeen or Dundee. He settled in Melbourne 

  married to a Scots girl whose family emigrated there when she was a young girl.
