G'day folks,

Just been listening to Koch on Channel 7. He is reporting from Greece.

Amongst other things he said that in Greece a licence or permit is required for most things, including a swimming pool licence and one for owning a truck.

A 'council inspector' was wondering why the were only around 350 swimming pool licences for the richest suburb in Athen. So he put up a helicopter with a camera and discovered over 3400 swimming pools in the suburb!

Apparently one of the largest selling items in Athen these days are covers for swimming pools, which disguise that they are covering a swimming pool.

Then there are the truck licences - the last truck licence issued in Greece was in the 1970s!
