        Three people were shot Sunday night in the St. Roch neighborhood, several hours after two people were killed in separate shootings in the same area, New Orleans police said. 

        The shooting occurred shortly before 9 p.m. at the intersection of Arts and N. Derbigny streets, said Officer Hilal Williams, a New Orleans Police Department spokeswoman. 

        Police found two of the victims at the location. Police found the third victim in the 1800 block of Painters Street. Williams said police believe the third victim was shot at the same location and moved. Williams said the condition of the victims is still unknown.

        The shooting took place several hours after two other shootings in the area left a 16-year-old boy and 23-year-old man dead and injured three children. Those shootings also remain under investigation
