We had one in a bus shelter a few weeks ago. It was a tiny thing (the nest), like half a tangerine hanging from the roof with room for only a couple of wasps. I went home and formulated a risk-free risk assessment for its removal and went back next day clad in protective gear without a ladder, but it had gone.  Most of this is true.
