Hello Colin,

 

I am very sorry that I have not answered your Welcome aboard and answered
your question. Until day.

 

My only excuse is that I have been down with a lung infection that has taken
3 doses of antibiotics to sort it out and today is the first time that I
been on the computer. I think that I will be most of the day reading the
Emails bitlist sent me that have came in today.

 

While I was on Chanda the 2nd Eng was Tony Brown-Berrasford. The 3rd Eng was
an Irish man called Paddy the 4th Eng Roy Jefferies the fivers in seniority
were  Maurice Deans > Derek Boardman > Bob Mcmillan. Then me.

I seem to remember I sailed on Chanda around 1959/60 [or was it 1859/60?]

Do you recall any of the others who were there at the time?

Hello John,

Fred Waddington has just advised me that your Email List is where that most
BI chaps are commuting with each other since the problems 2 years ago on the
BIship site.

As I have thought that the BIship site has gone from poor to boring. I would
be obliged if you would allow me to join your list. I sailed with BI on
Woodara & Chanda during 1959/60.
