The Orleans Parish coroner's office on Monday released the identities of four people killed in three separate shootings between Friday and Sunday. Meanwhile, police released details on four non-fatal shootings during the same time period that saw six people injured.

Michael Thomas, 37, was shot to death Friday about 6:44 p.m. at Gen. de Gaulle Drive and Behrman Avenue, near the Crescent City Connection's west bank on-ramp, during what police called a domestic incident.

Police said Thomas was shot following an argument among Thomas, his ex-girlfriend and her friend Justin Rivers. The argument began earlier in the evening in Gretna before the shooting in Algiers.

Police questioned Rivers and the ex-girlfriend, whom they did not identify. A search of Orleans Parish Criminal District Court records Monday found no arrest of Rivers. Homicide Detective Orlando Matthews is leading the investigation.

Two men were shot and killed early Saturday in the 3100 block of North Derbigny Street in the 9th Ward.

Police found Kevin Peters, 26, and Corey Harris, 29, shot dead inside a house in the block about 12:20 a.m.

While investigators have not released any information on suspects or a motive, they found a handgun and drugs on the scene. Homicide Detective Melanie Dillon is in charge of the investigation.

On Sunday, police found the body of Mitchell Fobbs in the 5100 block of South Front Street, near the corner of Soniat Street in Uptown, about 12:10 p.m.

A neighbor who called police after hearing gunshots saw a gray or silver car speed away from the scene on Dufossat Street toward Tchoupitoulas Street, police said.

Investigators have not released any information on a motive or identified any suspects in the death. Homicide Detective Michael Cochran is leading the investigation.

The first non-fatal shooting was reported about 7:30 p.m. Friday in the 3800 block of Louisiana Avenue. A 17-year-old girl was shot in the back after she and a friend walked past a car parked on the street.

Just after midnight Saturday, a man was shot in the 1900 block of St. Claude Avenue. Police could not immediately provide any details on the shooting.

About 24 hours later, a double shooting near the corner of Erato and South Galvez streets saw two people injured. A 21-year-old man and a 13-year-old boy were shot when a car passed by them and someone inside opened fire.

The two walked to Interim LSU Public Hospital, where they were treated for their wounds, according to a police log.

Shortly after 6 p.m. Sunday, a woman, whose age was not available, and a 22-year-old man were shot near the corner of Eads and Odin streets in Gentilly.

The woman was shot in the back; the man was hit in the left hand. Paramedics took both victims to Interim LSU Public Hospital.

Monday evening police announced the arrest of Cornelius Howard, 21, in the shooting. Howard, arrested at his mother's home in the 1600 block of Mandeville, was booked on five counts of attempted murder. Police said he has an extensive arrest record and had pending arrest warrants in three burglaries, possession of a stolen vehicle and prostitution loitering and trafficking cases.

Detectives are working to identify the other two suspects in the shooting.
