Why would a university damn itself with faint praise - "It's not Oxford but 
on a level with Edinburgh or St Andrew's" ??   Our granddaughter is studying 
psychology and politics in Glasgow, and we have heard of no plans to bump up 
her tuition feesfrom £0 to £9000.
