Three men and a woman were shot to death in New Orleans during the weekend in a span of about 17 hours.

The most recent incident was Sunday morning around 8 a.m., when New Orleans Police found Cierra Luckie, 24, in her house in the 9000 block of Edinburgh Street.

Luckie, who was identified by the Orleans Parish Coroner's Office, had a gunshot wound to her head. Homicide Detective Andrew Packer is in charge of the investigation.

In separate incidents Saturday night, two men in their early 20s were shot to death around 9:30 p.m., police said. A 22-year-old was declared dead on the scene on South Carrollton Avenue, and a 20-year-old died in the hospital after being shot on Burgundy Street.

Police responded to a call of shots fired in the 5100 block of Burgundy, and Fifth District officers found the 20-year-old lying inside his house with multiple gunshot wounds. John Gagliano, chief investigator at the coroner's office, identified him as Roderick Fontenberry of New Orleans.

Homicide Detective Anthony Pardo is in charge of this investigation.

In the shooting at South Carrollton Avenue and Walmsley Street, Second District officers responded to a call of shots fired. They found the 22-year-old inside his vehicle with gunshot wounds, and took him to a hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival.

Gagliano identified him as Marvin Watts.
