Great stuff !  Fats Waller gets a mention in it (you and are are two of the few not mentioned in it) - I read somewhere, a long time ago, that two trains spent the night in a siding in the US. In one train was Louis Armstrong (and band), all asleep, and in the other was Fats Waller in his coffin.
