Unfortunately years later some of the old school still advertise and talk of pounds, ounces, feet and inches.

The police on TV news are always talking about the one that they're looking for being five foot eight. None of the younger generation know what they're talking about.

While the oldies don't know how tall they are in metrics units. Me included.

My wife measures things in Centimetres, being that she is Dutch. But the centimetre is not a standard unit of measurement in Australia..
