Sorry to rain on the parade but .......... Greenock hasn't been in Renfrewshire for many a long year - it's in Inverclyde ..... if the incident ever happened (and I doubt it), it was a very very long time ago, way back in the 1800s/early 1900s when there might have been spmething like a Reformed Temperance Hall in the burgh (I've certainly never heard of one) ..... the style of the "report" doesn't match reports of that age, let alone skid marks ????? ..... wearing the kilt at a wedding is a recent vogue, followed only by the trendy ..... and, finally. I'd gladly shoot the next person who quotes the myth that the Scot wears nothing under the kilt.
