A woman in a supermarket is following a grandfather and his badly behaved 3-year-old grandson. It's obvious to her that he has his hands full with a child screaming for sweets in the candy aisle, for biscuits in the bread aisle, for soft drinks in the other aisles, and so on.

All the while she notices the calmness of the granddad when he said in a controlled voice, "Easy, William, we won't be long now."

Another outburst came soon, and she heard the granddad calmly say, "It's okay, William, just a couple more minutes and we'll be out of here. Hang in there, boy."

At the checkout counter, as the little terror is chucking items out of the cart, the granddad once again says, "William, William, don't get upset. We'll be home in minutes. Stay cool."

Very, very impressed with the grandfather's behavior, the woman finishes checking out and heads for her car. While doing so, she sees the grandfather is almost finished putting groceries into his car. The little brat was already in his car seat.

She walks over and says to the elderly gentleman, "It's none of my business, sir, but you were absolutely amazing in there. I don't know how you kept your composure-no matter how loud or disruptive he got, you just calmly kept saying things would be okay. William is really lucky to have you as a grandpa!"

"Why, thank you," says the grandfather, "but I'm William.

The little shit's name is Kevin."
