Mike,

They can weep crocodile tears on the "it wasn't us" bandwagon till the cows come home, they sowed the wind, now they are fearful of the political consequences of the whirlwind.

I quote : 'Tea Party activists also condemned the shooting. Judson Phillips, the founder of Tea Party Nation, noted on his Web site that Ms. Giffords is "a liberal," but added, "that does not matter now. No one should be a victim of violence because of their political beliefs.' Leaving aside the unfortunate image of Liberals in present day UK, how in the name of God did a country get to the stage where, in it, liberality can be confused with strange political beliefs to the point of requiring commentators to point out that those being liberal should not be shot on sight?
