well, mike
you are probably right that the USA has enough problems.
however, the department that doles out money to other countries seems to be oblivious of the following....................................................................

U.S. NATIONAL DEBT CLOCK
The Outstanding Public Debt as of 08 Jan 2011 at 04:55:28 PM GMT is:

The estimated population of the United States is 309,809,200
so each citizen's share of this debt is $45,251.32.
The National Debt has continued to increase an average of
$4.18 billion per day since September 28, 2007!
Concerned? Then tell Congress and the White House!

they are oblivious to recent history too...................................................
billions of dollars didn’t get the US much from south Vietnam - apart from the 53,000 dead US servicemen.
it has got nothing from Iraq – apart from over 4000 servicemen killed and over 30,000 wounded. although US contractors [Halliburton, blackwater, etc] did make out/are making out - like bandits.
as of today, the US has spent $767,648,821,548 for war in Iraq....................
the US has got nothing from Afghanistan – apart from hatred, 1450 servicemen killed [350 UK servicemen killed] and spent $367,052,006,735 as of a few minutes ago.
This works out to be about $122,000 for every man, woman and child in Afghanistan – very nice too, as the average income is about $1000 per YEAR.
It is like giving everyone in the US $439.000.
so how about just giving everyone in Pakistan $100,000 say – and leaving them to play amongst themselves?
or – as I mentioned before, just buy it..................................what you think?

Colin,

I would have thought that the US of A had enough problems without occupying Pakistan. All it needs is for the Taliban to get into a Nuclear enclosure in Pakistan.

Mike
