          Normally I would bow  to your superior know ledge, but, according 
to several books 
that I have, William Wallace was Ayrshire born (Dundonald Castle) and lived 
 his early
life at ELLERSIE - an estate near Kilmarnock.
 
      This fiction that ELDERSLIE was his  birthplace was promoted by 
politically motivated
numbties for "God knows what" reasons.
