          Amazon.com's Kindle Fire continues to feel the heat.

          A day after Amazon said it would provide an over-the-air software update to its tablet one month after its release, customers say they're still miffed because the update won't fix the device's hardware issues, which include its small screen, lack of external volume controls and a poorly placed on/off button.
