Does anyone know anything about this monument please? "Easter Desert" may be 'eastern Desert".





May I be permitted to put this pic on this thread. 

It was taken by me during my service in the Merchant Navy in the mid 1950s. 
>From memory I think it is the ANZAC Memorial on the Easter Desert (Egypt) very close to the Red Sea. 
It is so long ago the memory has faded and the quality of the pic is poor. 
Can anyone confirm the above for me ?
