Your UK pension starts when you are 65.

Assume that you have been in Australia for at least 10 years before that.

Then your pension will be calculated by the UK as being X pounds per month.

>From then onwards you will not receive any further increases as long as you live, in a frozen country.

Should you return to the UK to live out your days you will be entitled to the full aged pension with all the other benefits - health etc...

Assume also that you can receive an Australian Aged Pension then for every dollar received from the UK, your Aussie pension will be reduced by 40 cents in every dollar received from the UK.

But, you are still better off by the 60 cents than any Aussie pensioner.
