The lady commentator was simply using up one of the letter "r"s she'd left out of other words.  Apparently a lady (it only seems to be ladies) can't get a job commentating nowadays unless she shows a gift for excluding the letters "r" and "l" as much as humanly possible from the middles and ends of words - if they belong there.

WTF is a "blogger-in-residence" ?.
