While rearranging my files I came across the September 1982 issue of Personal Computing Today. I find my old Acorn Atom (still got it), retailing at £174.50, though I paid a sight more than that for it. Memory was 2k RAM (I got it bumped up to 8 with a heat sink to keep it cool) - 16 line/32 character screen display (via a black and white TV). And the Sinclair ZX-Spectrum at £125, 16k RAM - still got it also. At the top end there is the Sharp MZ-80-B, yours for only £990 (£600 extra for dual disk drives) - 64K RAM, and it has its own screen.

Hugh.
