Mike,

I note a reference to the "dominant" right eye.  Curlers, properly taught 
curlers, will ascertain which of their eyes is dominant by carrying out a 
simple test.  I can't recall what the test entails - squinting at something, 
etc - as I say, I can't remember.  The dominant eye thus established, the 
other is closed when delivering the stone for maximum accuracy of line.  Not 
all curlers bother with this - I found it a boon.
