I believe the term "pressurized water" refers to the primary circuit coloured reddish in the illustration.

Colin,
We are talking here about a single steam turbine driven by steam generated by heat generated by nuclear fission. The illustration is of the type we used to see in comics - note "main engine throttle", so it's an American comic. It has an el drive motor, clutched in or out, with a gennie on the end of the turbine. I don't understand the use of the term "pressurized water". I worked on a power station boiler that qualified for the term - in it, water was bumped up to the pressure at which it became steam. I see nothing like that in the illustration.
