You might find the following TV programme by Channel Four of interest. Journalist Andrew Gilligan investigates how a fundamentalist Muslim group - the Islamic Forum of Europe - has infiltrated the British political system. Based at the East London Mosque in Whitechapel, the IFE has received millions of pounds of public money and has been visited by government ministers and royalty. Despite claiming to support tolerance and community spirit, Gilligan reveals it also hosts extremist speakers and stocks radical books.
