[BITList] costner's magic machines

you know we are, hugh

local talk radio has been asking for some weeks why the "costner clean up system" has been getting little traction from BP, despite the fact that costner's local partner [a seedy local lawyer/used car salesman type - {could he be working on commish?}], absolutely insists, and can prove that this is the answer to rapidly cleaning up spilled oil.
as BP has not answered the question, it is surmised by local radio talking heads that there is a conspiracy afoot - and BP want to keep spilling oil as long as they can - for God only knows what reason!
from my expert knowledge of centrifugal purification, appears a centrifuge will not have an easy time separating this muddy mess into golden oil and h2o.
but we live and learn
it is possible BP have decided to try the magic system to shut the complainers and conspiracy theorist up, so they can get on uninterrupted with the serious business in hand.

ps wonder if the oily water mix has to be heated to 185 degrees F first? is it not going to take an awful lot of energy to heat 673 billion trillion tons of the GOM prior to separation in the 32 magic machines?

Colin,

Has the world gone mad? Are we the only people who can see through this naive crap?

Hugh.
