Fyi/please excuse the french slang words..



It appears they were trying to reeve or repair the boom wire with another
crane holding the boom up instead of letting it rest of the ground.  The
support crane was in direct line with the falling boom.  Why not lift from
the side?  Poor planning, terrible engineering.  JSA or RA needed to analyse
what could happen when doing the work.
