The coalition government is looking for ways to save money at the same time.  So asking them to spend an additional £540 million per year on unfreezing pensions might not be that popular.

 

If, however, you express it in terms of saving money, for example you could point out that there are 500,000 frozen pensioners and the cost of uprating would be £1,000 per pensioner per year.

 

The savings to the government for each addition pensioner to migrate to a frozen country would be over £5,000 per pensioner per year in NHS costs alone, then social services and housing on top of that.  It could be said that for each pensioner who is encouraged to migrate the Government would save over £4,000 per year.  That should be a no brainer.  The Government should be actively encouraging people to migrate by uprating all overseas pensions.

regulation,and unnecessary bureaucracy.Here is the E-Mail Address
