[BITList] Trinity House Vessel

This is the Trinity House Vessel THV 'Alert' I looked at today in Ipswich Wet Dock, this is a rapid response vessel that covers the whole of the SE of England, she was built in 2006
















Does anyone know the derivation of the flag? Why four identical ships?
