Dave,

 

It was on Big Lorry blog but not much info on FH Stephens. I don't know what
ever happened to them, probably swallowed by that *%&@ Peter Ables.

I had dealings with them while subbying for Alltrans.

Robbo,

Where did you get this from? Stephens were a Tasmanian company who operated
fairly widely across Eastern Australia, transport, shipping, shipping
agency, customs etc. At one time they were agents for Tidewater but they
went out of business during the '70's.

Must look it up sometime, they appeared to be prosperous company, certainly
respected in their field, don't know why they ceasd rading.
