Christmas Evening,

John,

We've done a bit of house sitting - once you find out where things are, 
things should settle down, but you'll come home without a few items despite 
trying not to. I found it a bit like when I was relieving - living with 
someone else's gear.

Overnight we went from minus 6C to +3C.  In between, it thawed then froze 
again - ice everywhere.  When last I checked, it was still +3C, so a heat 
wave in the morning.
