This came from an ex-colleague and fellow curler.  The little girl is Mellisa Venema, and she was 13 when the video was made.  The orchestra is conducted by Andre Rieu. Rieu is Austrian - I have no information on the nationality of the girl.  I played trumpet to a fairly high standard - I find the girl's performance very impressive, and not as in "impressive for a child" - impressive by any standard.
