[BITList] Deafness

As many of us must be of similar ages,nearing 80, have any of you had any treatment for progressive deafness caused by our age?My wife tells me that the telly is too loud and maybe I'm being selective too! however the fact is that my hearing is ,without a doubt degenerating, as is the rest of my body. Hence my request from anyone else who has the same affliction. Any recommended help will be actively persued. Costs? Thanks in advance. Ron
