A question - is the ladies' tee forward of the men's ?

Though it's nowhere near being in the same league of difficulty, the 18th at Port Glasgow has a tee a considerable height above the green - and not much of fairway in between.  And the 5th is opposite, with its green miles above the tee and blind.
