G'day folks,

The Premier of this film "Beneath Hill 60" opened in Townsville recently.

The film about a group of North Queenslander Mining Tunnellers who were recruited in WWI to dig tunnels underneath the German lines in France, in order to blow up the Germans,  was made here in Townsville.

Wulguru is also shown in the movie - a world first?

There is a shot of wedding taking place in a very small Catholic Church here in Wulguru!

It has had good reviews from the local population - The movie not the wedding!

It is on show I believe throughout Australia right now.
