Earlier on this evening I was watching the above programme on BBC2.  Part of the programme was filmed at the Howrah Jute Mill, it looked as if it was a few miles upstream from Calcutta.  They also interviewed quite a few ex Dundee Jute Wallahs and their wives.

It was very interesting, Brian, the Narrator, visited a cemetery in Calcutta, it was in quite a state.  The present Scottish Govt. has promised financial help to restore the cemeteries etc.
