tks, john

when shopping for exquisite jewelry, Wempe New York is my first choice............................

but seriously, their shop in Hamburg was only a short walk from my office, and I did drop in there from time to time. (if I remember correctly, they had two shops there).

I have also had dealings with them from here. I wanted a couple of bits for my clock some time ago, I sent money to them because I didn't know the cost of the small bits I wanted.

not only did they send the little bits, they also sent an english version of the complete drawing of all the clock pieces - and sent the money back.

incidentally, their reply was in excellent english..........................

so yes, Wempe is highly recommended for all your exquisite jewelry needs, as well as watches and clocks.........................................

ct

PS The striking brass ships clock looks quite desirable..............................................
