[BITList] New Aspirin info on heart attack

I know aspirin in small doses (1/4 tablet) is taken by some people regularly - I hear this described as "thinning the blood", ie, reducing the viscosity, no doubt to reduce the risk of blood clots = heart attacks. But aspirin is a two-edged sword - it attacks the stomach lining and can cause ulcers or aggravate existing ulcers, hence the development of the dispersible form (some brands less dispersible than others), and at least one "chewy" form. I only use them for headaches, maybe twice a year, or muscle pain arising from doing something stupid. Other pain killers seem not to work on me.

Hugh.
