John, I've never heard of a sleeve valve marine engine, ie, a prime mover or a generator even. The Transport Museum in Glasgow has a number of these cut away engines - the one on Youtube may well have been videoed there. I like the comments vis a vis lubrication problems - "modern technology will probably solve it, etc". Faint hope ! Hugh.
