Mike,

I note the "UK" in the reference to "Able UK, the British shipbreakers".  Are Able UK British, let alone English? Or is it that they only break British ships?  Were Smith & Houston still breaking ships (of any nationality) here in Port Glasgow, would they be able to break up the French warship without disturbing the Auld Alliance?  One should be told these things.
