As an ex-RAF Serviceman I had tear in my eyes when I read this.

Wiping away my tears, I wondered why the Prime Minister of The United  
Kingdom isn't standing there with those people in Wooton Bassett, the  
small town that I drove through twice a day when I was serving at RAF  
Lynham, many many years ago.

It is his Government that sent our servicemen and servicewomen out  
there to fight on our behalf.
