The mind boggles !  The ball seems to have no bounce whatever, so that would 
help a bit, but only in the matter of knowing she wouldn't have to allow for 
a stray bounce.  It is all down to aptitude, skill and years of practice.  A 
few days ago BBC TV showed the 2008 Edinburgh Tattoo, and there was a group 
of girls from New Zealand doing a long and VERY complex series of "marching" 
manoeuvres, all without a single word of command or a single error or (as 
far as I could see) a sideways glance at a colleague.  The precision was 
stunning, even when going backwards.
