I remember none of these Chokras and vice versa I suspect.

My generation evaporated very quickly after the atom bombs were dropped. I did one trip as a brand new 3rd  mate before being elevated. 

The Second's job was ruined by chart corrections. My  early ships always seemed to have a massive chart library.

What a relief to live on a mail ship around the Bay of Bengal and getting rid of the purple digit syndrome even though it was replaced by bag counting.
